Finnlines wins marketing awards in Finland and Germany
Finnlines
has recently received two awards in Germany and Finland, confirming the
effectiveness of its communication activities and of the positioning of the
brand in its key markets.
On 26
February in Lübeck, the company was honoured with the “Platzhirsch Award” in
the “Local Media” category for its MICE (Meetings, Incentives, Conferences, Exhibitions) campaign
carried out in Northern Germany in autumn 2025. The campaign aimed to market
the company’s vessels not only as a holiday travel option, but also as
“floating conference venues” for events, team building sessions, workshops,
exhibitions and corporate gatherings. The award marks an important step in
strengthening Finnlines’ local brand presence and product communication,
particularly for its MICE/B2B offering on the Hansalink (Finland-Germany) and
Nordölink (Sweden–Germany) routes.
At the
Voitto Gala, on 7 March in Helsinki, Finnlines’ series of commercials “Cruises
for those who don’t like cruises” won the “Audience’s Best Seconds” award in
the Voitto Advertising Film Competition. This is one of the most prestigious honours
for Finnish advertising films. Approximately 140 entries were submitted, reduced
by the jury to a shortlist of 28 for the
finals. The winner was decided by a public vote, in which Finnlines’ campaign
emerged as the viewers’ favourite.
