Grimaldi Group among winners at China Awards 2025

The Grimaldi Group was among the winners at the China Awards 2025, an event organized by the Italy China Council Foundation (ICCF) and the financial daily MF – Milano Finanza with the aim of acknowledging companies that have helped strengthen economic relations between Italy and China. Now in its twentieth edition, this year’s event took place on 3 December at the Museo della Scienza e della Tecnologia in Milan.

The Naples-based shipping group distinguished itself in the Top Investors category, reserved for enterprises that have made the most significant investments in the two countries in recent years. The award recognizes the strategic vision of the Group, which has expanded maritime connections between China and major global markets, strengthening its presence on international trade routes. The company has also stood out on account of its substantial fleet renewal program, having commissioned as many as 63 vessels from Chinese shipyards over the past 15 years—a major investment that has helped make the Grimaldi fleet even more modern, efficient and environmentally sustainable.

This year’s accolade is not the Grimaldi Group’s first success at the China Awards. The company was also honoured in 2023, when it received the prestigious “Via della Seta” (Silk Road) award, assigned to Italian companies that have embarked on a long, consistent and significant growth path in the Chinese market.

The 2025 edition therefore confirms the Grimaldi Group’s role as a key player in the economic dialogue between Italy and China, further enhancing a track record already rich in achievements and paving the way for further developments in economic and maritime relations between the two countries.
