The Grimaldi Group recognized among the best Italian businesses in China

The Grimaldi Group was among the winners of the 13^th annual Panda d’Oro Awards, celebrated at a ceremony held on 15 June at the W Hotel in Shanghai. The event, organized by the China-Italy Chamber of Commerce (CICC), with the patronage of the Italian Embassy in the P.R.C., and the Italian Consulate General in Shanghai, and in cooperation with the Italian Cultural Institutes of Beijing and Shanghai, was attended by nearly 700 guests, including representatives from Italian and Chinese institutions.

The Panda d’Oro Ceremony honours those who have excelled in investments, growth, innovation and more within China. Recipients are selected by a distinguished panel appointed by the CICC. This annual event not only acknowledges outstanding contributions but also highlights the dynamic interplay between international and Chinese businesses shaping today’s economic landscape.

This year's winners distinguished themselves in different award categories. The Grimaldi Group received the Panda d'Oro 2024 Award, prestigious recognition granted to the Italian companies that invested the most in the Chinese market in 2023. The award was collected by Grimaldi Shipping Agency Shanghai General Manager Francesco Zhou and Grimaldi Group Euromed & Far East/Europe Lines Executive Claudio Pizzuti.
