Honorary Industrial Doctorate awarded to Emanuele Grimaldi

On account of his lifetime achievements and unwavering commitment to the growth of the shipping industry, the Aries International Maritime Research Institute (AIMRI) awarded an Honorary Industrial Doctorate to Emanuele Grimaldi at a ceremony held on 24 January at the Constellation Ballroom in Dubai.

This is AIMRI’s highest honour and is conferred on individuals who are widely recognized for outstanding and sustained achievements in their respective fields and have distinguished themselves through nationally or internationally significant contributions.

As explained by the Institute, in his capacities as Grimaldi Group Managing Director and ICS (International Chamber of Shipping) Chairman, Emanuele Grimaldi’s “exceptional leadership has ensured his company’s success and has been a source of inspiration for the entire industry. His vision and perseverance have helped to drive innovation, efficiency, and sustainability in the sector; his contribution to the industry is a shining example of what can be achieved through dedication, hard work, and vision.”
