A joint venture between Atlantica di Navigazione and Flota Suardiaz, one of the main Spanish shipping companies, Grimaldi & Suardiaz Lines operates a Motorway of the Sea for rolling freight (car, van, trucks, trailers, etc) and passengers between the ports of Barcelona (Spain) and Livorno (Italy) three times a week with a transit time of less than 20 hours.

The ship deployed is the Ro/Ro-Passenger vessel Florencia, which has a loading capacity of 2,200 linear metres of rolling cargo, 150 cars and 830 passengers.
